Welcome to Greenhouse Art Therapy!
A greenhouse is a protected space from harsh elements where plants can grow and flourish. Our warm and moist mother earth itself is like a massive greenhouse that makes this planet so beautiful and conducive for diverse life. Similarly, I hope to create a light-filled, safe and nonjudgmental space for you to freely express yourself, play, heal, grow and thrive.
What is Art Therapy?
Art therapy uses art materials, the art making process and the therapeutic relationship to improve holistic well-being. Sometimes, there are topics, conflicts or emotions that can be too difficult or overwhelming to talk about. Art making and reflecting with a therapist can be safe way to express, release, navigate, contain and process these.
However, you do not need to be facing any problems to try art therapy. Through art therapy, you could also build emotional resilience, cultivate inner peace, strengthen your relationships, gain insights, learn more about yourself and your loved ones, or just simply relax and have fun.
Individual Art Therapy
Individual therapy sessions usually last for 60-90 minutes. At the moment, I am only holding them online or in an outdoor nature space. I am able to book a counselling room if arranged in advance at additional cost.
Couples & Dyads
Couple or dyad sessions usually last for 90 minutes.
Work through conflicts, learn more about each other, deepen your connections or simply have a fun time with your loved ones.
Art Workshops
Workshops are organized around a theme and serve as a creative space to explore a medium or technique.
About the therapist
Xeia Wild (they/them) is a registered art psychotherapist with a holistic, eco-centric, and trauma-informed approach to wellbeing. With a background in Global Studies, their work is shaped by an awareness of our collective and intergenerational trauma and resilience.
Certified in Guided Drawing and informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), Xeia has worked with children, young people, and adults across the arts, education, and social sectors. Their clinical experience spans a juvenile rehabilitation setting, an elder-care centre, and a community mental-health service, giving them insight into the complex needs of diverse populations.
Xeia believes healing is a creative, compassionate process that gently reconnects us with our bodies, our authentic selves, one another, and the sacred more-than-human world. Their sessions often braid together grief work, narrative-making through dialogue, and nature-based rituals, in order to honour and make meaning of our precious lived experience.
